Features of the Catalina

The Catalina fiberglass pool has been a best-seller for us for decades and is wildly popular amongst pool enthusiasts all over Illinois. The entry step to this pool is located in the shallow end, with a deep end depth of 5 feet, 9 inches. The Catalina's minimalistic appearance and low maintenance requirements are a big hit with our pool owners.

Due to its relatively low water capacity of 6,800 gallons, this pool belongs to our small size collection. The steps at the shallow end make a wonderful entry into the pool and can also serve as a gathering spot. This area can be further enhanced by adding a handrail which will significantly increase a safe entry and exit. Also, the Catalina comes installed with a deep end swim-out bench for those who need a place to rest or sunbathe between swims. The Catalina is a wonderful addition to small yard properties.

Let’s talk H2O. The "water turnover" time for the Catalina is set at 8 hours. Water turnover is the amount of time it takes for your filtration system to purify an entire body of water. Only 14 gallons per minute are needed to turn over The Catalina in 8 hours. That's a huge chunk taken out of your regular energy costs! The Catalina will save its owners a significant amount of money on monthly energy bills compared to our competitors’ swimming pools. Also, if you also use a variable-speed pump, you can reduce your monthly energy costs even further. If this piques your curiosity, please get in touch today.
